Pelvic dysfunction can commonly be disguised as the following:
Lumbar Radiculopathy: Starting in the low back, pain, numbness, tingling that runs down the low back, buttocks, and leg
Low Back Pain: in the middle or off to one side of the low back
Sciatica: Starting in the buttocks/glutes region, pain, numbness, tingling along the back of the lower leg
Lateral Hip Pain: Pain wrapping along the side(s) of hips and thighs
Piriformis Syndrome: pain with direct compression or stretch to the glutes/buttocks muscle
Patellar Tendinopathy: knee pain in the front of knee with walking, running, stair climbing
Adductor Strain: inner thigh pain after quickly changing speeds (ie quickly lunging to catch a falling object)
Hamstring Strain: back of thigh pain after quickly changing speeds (ie stopping abruptly to prevent dripping, running after a child)
Hip & Groin Pain: deep pain attempting to lift or rotate the hip (to put on shoes, get in/out of car)
