Pelvic & Sexual health

Diagnoses of Pelvic Pain & Dysfunction:

Coccyx (tailbone) pain: Pelvic floor &/or tailbone soreness after sitting, riding a bike


Dyspareunia: Pain with sexual intercourse. 


Endometriosis: Symptoms can be elevated from tension and lack of mobility in the muscles of the pelvic floor, abdomen, hips and back. 


Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP): Heaviness or a "ball" sensation in the vaginal canal. This can feel like something is slipping down the vaginal canal.


Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI): Urinary leaking with coughing, sneezing, laughing, jumping, running, etc.


Urge Urinary Incontinence (UUI): Urinary leaking with sudden urge to urinate. This can be triggered by behaviors like driving into garage, walking into a store, listening to water running.


Vaginismis: Pain with insertion of tampon, menstrual cup, and/or gynecologic PAP exam. This can be described as "hitting a wall" during sex.


Chronic Prostatitis (male patients): Urinary urgency or pelvic pain.
